Commerce Square is one of the highlights of the city. This grand plaza is surrounded on three sides by distinctive yellow Pombaline buildings, with the southern side facing out over the Tejo Estuary.

The Tower of Saint Vincent is a small fort constructed in the 16th century. It's considered an icon of Lisbon. It served as a fort that protected Lisbon from incoming raids along the Tagus River. The Tower of Saint Vincent is free to visit, but you'll need to pay 9 dollars per person to tour the attraction's interior.

Saint George's Castle is a historic castle. Since the 12th century, the castle has served as a royal palace, a military barracks, and now as a national monument and museum. Saint George's Castle Ticket fee is 16 dollars per adult.

The Lisbon Oceanarium is the largest indoor aquarium in Europe and is visited by more than 1 million people yearly. This aquarium hosts more than 500 species, divided into 30 tanks. The main one is a massive aquarium with over 5 million liters of salt water.  The ticket price is 27 dollars.

The Monument To The Discovery lies in the neighborhood of The Tower of Saint Vincent along the edge of the river, where Portuguese explorers used to live on their ships. The 50-metre-high monument celebrates the Age of Discovery and commemorates 500 years since the death of the famous explorer Henry the Navigator. The ticket price is 5 dollars.

Hieronymites Monastery is one of the most prominent examples of the late Portuguese Gothic Manueline style of architecture in Lisbon. UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1983. Hieronymites Monastery is the final resting place of explorer Vasco da Gama. The ticket fee is 13 dollars.

The Lisbon Elevator has a stunning observation deck at the top and offers magnificent views over Baixa. It stands 45 meters tall, and a ticket for the lift costs 6 dollars.

Lisbon Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Europe.  The many animals from Africa and Brazil contribute to the fact that, over the years, the Lisbon Zoo has had one of the most diverse animal collections in the world. The admission fee is 30 dollars.

The Cristo Ray statue represents Portugal's religious gratitude for avoiding the horrors of World War Two. Since its consecration in 1959, Cristo Ray has been an important Portuguese pilgrim destination, and today it’s a major religious center for the diocese of Setubal.

The Vasco da Gama Bridge is a cable-stayed Lisbon bridge crossing the Tagus River. The Vasco da Gama Bridge is Europe's longest bridge, with a length of 17185 meters.

Briones is a village in the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, Spain.  It has many popular attractions, including Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion and Palacio del Marques de San Nicolas, making it well worth a visit.

Haro is a town and municipality northwest of La Rioja province in northern Spain. It produces red wine and hosts the annual Haro Wine Festival. Its many popular attractions, including CVNE Vino, make it a great place to visit.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants, and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.

Krong Battambang

Battambang is a city on the Sangkae River in northwestern Cambodia. It’s known for colonial buildings such as Sala Khaet, the former Governor’s Residence. Battambang Provincial Museum has artifacts from local Khmer temples. Nearby, Phare Ponleu Selpak is a circus and performing arts school for underprivileged children. North of the center is the ruins of Ek Phnom, an 11th-century pagoda with sandstone carvings.

Krong Siem Reap

Siem Reap, a resort town in northwestern Cambodia, is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes preserved Angkor Wat, the main temple pictured on Cambodia’s flag. Giant, mysterious faces are carved into the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom. 

Krong Kampot

Kampot is a city on the Preaek Tuek Chhu River in southern Cambodia. It's known for its pepper plantations and salt fields. Many buildings date from the colonial period, including the Governor’s Mansion. The house is now the Kampot Museum, which has exhibits on the city’s history. To the west, Preah Monivong Bokor National Park has a cool climate with forests, waterfalls, and wildlife including gibbons and big cats.

Dom Luís I Bridge
The Dom Luís I Bridge, or Luís I Bridge, is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the River Douro between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia in Portugal. At its construction, its 172 meters span was the longest of its type in the world. The metal arch bridge has an upper and lower deck and spans along the world-famous Douro River connecting the northern Portugal cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Though Porto is known for having quite a few bridges, the Dom Luis I Bridge is especially renowned because it was designed by a student of Gustave Eiffel, the mastermind behind the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Caves Burmester - A magical place full of history
Burmester Wine Cellars are located in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a prime location overlooking the river Douro, by the bottom deck of Luiz I Bridge. Open to the public for guided tours and Port wine tastings, distinguished by their history and authenticity.

Sao Bento
Porto Sao Bento is a beautiful monument and the western terminus of the line that makes the impressive and picturesque route between the Douro Valley and Porto. Inside the station operates a cafeteria, public toilets, and a place to store your luggage.

Pinhao Portugal
Pinhao is one of the most well-known places to visit in the Douro region. The wine town of Pinhão is surrounded by vineyards that produce the world's best Port wine and Douro table wines.
