Although we can never truly predict the weather, the best time to visit Vietnam is between November and April, and December has always worked well for our trips.  This timing helps ensure that you can enjoy each location comfortably.

These accommodations blend traditional Vietnamese charm with modern conveniences, and many offer spa services and swimming pools for added relaxation. As your tour is completely customizable, you can opt for alternative accommodations based on your preferences, from charming local stays to upscale resorts.

Most travelers will need a visa to enter Vietnam, and those from the United States definitely do. We’ll provide you links to where we recommend that you secure your visa for a nominal price and this is a simple process. You will of course need to start with a valid passport that doesn’t expire within 6 months of when this trip ends.

Packing for Vietnam should include light, breathable clothing suitable for warm and at times humid weather, a good pair of worn-in walking shoes, a light rain shell for sudden showers, a small travel umbrella (just in case), a hat and sun protection. For temple visits and other sites, it’s important to bring clothing that covers the shoulders and knees.
